POV Productions is mainly me (Kyle) and it’s the name under which I create videos, partly because “Kyle Crockard Productions” would sound pretty lame. There’s another guy named Andrejs who was rather involved with this stuff a few years back (and occasionally shoots video with me), and owns the camera equipment that we've been using. He's made a lot of things happen in the past and is a primary reason for these videos existing at all. He's on board this season for some new goodies we're cooking up..

Until mid-June of 2004, we did not own a single video camera, yet somehow were able to film a bunch of stuff during the last few years. This is why I called our "company' POV Productions..it can be read like "Point-Of-View" Productions, or "POV"(erty) Productions. Now that we actually own cameras though, things are a lot less pov-ish.

You could say POV Productions was started in 2001 when I started taping some riding around my home turf (Kitchener-Waterloo) and put together a video called KW Freeride. A bunch of people seemed to like it, so we started taping as much as possible with borrowed equipment at DH races, competitions, group rides, and arranged video shoots. Andrejs set things up, got us there and video taped stuff, and I shot video and kept editing it. The result of the 2002 - early 2003 filming was Onterrible, which was released on a limited run of vhs tapes, and is now available for download.

Currently, Onterrible Video Magazine is in production with footage taped between 2004-2007 and is available as downloadable individual segments, and this coming 2008 season is being shot for an full length Onterrible 2 dvd. If you're interested in riding for a segment in the dvd, please contact me. We'll be doing a great deal of shooting throughout the season and are based out of Toronto & St. Catherines so put some time aside and let's plan something.
